继续抗争 反对输油管示威者返回工地宴会式集会

有反对横山输油管项目的示威者今日早上九时半,回到位于本那比的Kinder Morgan工地门外,带同食物,以宴会的方式集会。

今次集会是由原住民发起的反对输油管项目行动之一。原住民组织Watch House的行动领袖Will George表示,六十年前当第一条输油管建成时,政府没有征询民众的意见,他们不能投票或聘请律师,但现今情况已经不同。他强调会坚持抗争,直至输油管项目取消。

由三月十日至今,因为参与反对横山输油管项目行动而被补的人已经有约二百人。 (据中文电台)
